David Curtis Stringer Memorial Scholarship

On Behalf of David Curtis Stringer Sr., Ed's Place Announces the:
"David Curtis Stringer Jr. Memorial Scholarship".
Applicant must be planning on attending a college or trade school majoring in Fine Arts (traditional, graphic, media etc...) or music. Must attend school in Northern California, be at least a sophomore in high school and hold a GPA of 2.0 or better. Art work must be submitted with application. Art work can not measure larger than 11 by 14 or 18 inches tall if sculpture and can be of any type of material. Art work will not be returned and may be auctioned out in a scholarship fund raiser during scholarship ceremony with your permission or put on display by Ed's Place for public and judges review. Those applying under music shall submit a short CD or video with music sample. By submitting this application you acknowledge that you understand these conditions and understand that CD's, and DVD's and artwork can not be returned.
Scholarship award is $500.00, Submission Deadline March 1
PLEASE BE SURE TO PUT YOUR NAME, ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER ON ART WORK or CD/DVD's SUBMITTED ALONG WITH A TITLE OF YOUR ART WORK OR MUSIC DEMO TAPE NO LONGER THAN ONE MINUTE.
Please complete and submit scholarship application by clicking the "submit" button and submit following information to:
- A one page essay attachment to e-mail using MS Word format telling about yourself your accomplishments, goals and career desires.
- One letter of recommendation (Scanned or MS Word attachment to e-mail) with contact information for person writing .
- A scanned copy of your transcript or a letter of GPA verification from your school counselor using MS Word on school letterhead with contact information sent as an attachment with e-mail.
- Art work or musice demo
